I'll be sure to be clearer with my presentation in the future.

For the record...I am pro-women's rightsJay_feverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18248100404614945499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6331405609936626422.post-84997896258441217162009-04-08T11:16:00.000-07:002009-04-08T11:16:00.000-07:00Jay, I'm confused with your post...I don't know wh...Jay, I'm confused with your post...I don't know when you are talking and when the article comes in and out of the blog. So forgive me if you think I'm screaming on you in any part of my comment LOL

I think that the equality issue with women is no different than ANY equality issue...they want to be viewed as equals to their counterparts, which are men. For eons, Black people fought to be viewed as equals to their counterparts, which are/were White people. There is no difference. Equality is when you have the EQUAL right AND opportunity that someone else has. So if I am Black and I want to be viewed as equal to a White person, there should be nothing wrong with a woman wanting to be viewed as equal to a man...same shit, different toilet.

Sometimes the message gets diluted by others agenda but the basics of the idea have never changed...if someone else has a legal right to do something, another person should get the same legal right, regardless of their skin color or gender.AssertiveWithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07812269031321625818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6331405609936626422.post-45165573592478292152009-04-07T17:35:00.000-07:002009-04-07T17:35:00.000-07:00Okay I'm a little confused about this article. So ...Okay I'm a little confused about this article. So does the author agree with Phyllis Schlafly? The ending sounds like she does... or is that a quote from Schlafly? There's no quotations, but it's a little inconsistent with the beginning.

I would have to completely disagree with the way feminists are portrayed in this article. Feminism is about choice and equal rights. Women have the RIGHT to work wherever they please. They have the RIGHT to an education. They have the RIGHT to make their own choices concerning the direction of their life. When they do get a job, they have the RIGHT to be payed the same amount of money a man gets for the same work... equal work equal pay. Feminists DO honor successful women. I should know, I am a feminist.DLGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04829831677267581768noreply@blogger.com
