The first time I saw this short film it was on Khid illMatic's blog and I was impressed by Kanye's performance/parody of himself. The way the video is shot is genious. It really gives you that state of confusion and emptiness. It's crazy how with fame and fortune one can still harbor those self-destructive feelings...some would say that's when they can be amplified as well. Either way I think it sheds light on the dark side of all the "Flashing Lights"...
brilliant, in my opinion. knowing how kanye presents himself publicly, regardless of how different from this public image he insists on being, this shows a more vulnerable side. he's admitted to needing alot of "WORK", although his actions would lead you to believe he considers himself GODLIKE. Clearly, his rants and moments of brutal borderline-annoying honesty, are the biggest indicator of his insecurity.
